Paul is a leadership and teambuilding specialist committed to helping Christian leaders discover and fulfill who they are in Christ. His ministry focuses on training and mentoring leaders in eight cultures. He has worked with more than 50 denominational and mission groups, 800 individual churches, and 10,000+ Christian leaders.

Paul is deeply committed to his wife Julie and son Stephen at home in Albuquerque, NM. Paul and Julie are an active part of Church Resource Ministries.

Paul has a B.A. in Journalism from Tarkio College, Missouri and an M. Div. and D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is also an ordained pastor with 10+ years experience in local church ministry. All that he shares in his seminars and writing come from field experience.

More and more of Paul's focus today is training the Christian leader to become an effective steward of his or her ministry identity, and then help to steward the ministry identities of his/her ministry team. Called the "Leadership 3-Step" (leader to team to church / mission), Paul strategically ties together the stewardship process of leader, ministry team, and church or mission. All three are key in fulfilling the Great Commission, and leaders all over the world, from Russia to Korea to Kazakhstan to Mexico to Hungary, are responding to this training process. He also assists ministries in re-engineering their values from an "I" driven culture to a "We" culture.
